This accession consists of records created in the office of the Vice-President and General Manager, Operation, Atlantic Region. Subjects concerned include the Maritime Hospital Services Association (1953-68), property purchases at Truro, N.S. for englargement of the freight yards, CN coastal service/freight shipped along the South coast of Newfoundland, the operation of the 'St. Lawrence Special' (No. 1 Secton of the Ocean Limited) and personnel and labour relations. The latter records include minutes of meetings, No. 4 Shop Crafts and Railway Association of Canada, grievances filed by locomotive engineers and firemen and CN's interpretation of numerous articles and rules as contained in various CN wage agreements (ca. 1932-1960s).
