What’s new in the collection: refreshing additions on hot summer days

Take a break from the summer heat with the refreshing additions in this edition of What’s new!

Isabelle Kun-Nipiu’s Usages autochtones des plantes médicinales du Québec, Les fleurs (vol. 4) has been added to our collection. The book discusses the medical, practical, dietary and spiritual uses of flowering plants native to Quebec. We now have all five volumes in the set.

The Fred Sebastian fonds, assembled by a cartoonist well known for his political sketches, already contained a large number of works. It has been enriched with original drawings, paintings and illustrations on political and social issues that appeared in various newspapers and magazines since the 1980s.

The fonds of two great Canadian photographers have also been expanded, namely the Leslie Hossack fonds and the Gabor Szilasi fonds.

The next edition of What’s New in the Collection will be released in fall 2020.

Happy discoveries!
