2019 Acfas Conference: LAC organizes a seminar on the ongoing challenge that access to collections and privacy pose for memory institutions

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is pleased to present a one-day seminar on Wednesday, May 29, during the 87th Conference of the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas) (French only), held this year at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), in Gatineau.

Led by LAC and UQO, the seminar’s theme translates to “Accessing Collections and Respecting Privacy: A Constant Challenge for Memory Institutions.” It will bring together speakers from various government and academic institutions, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Library and Information Sciences School of Université de Montréal, UQO, Université du Québec à Montréal, Carleton University and LAC.

The event will be presented in French only.
