    This photograph depicts the ca. 1918 painting Capt. Kenneth Keith Forbes created for the Canadian War Memorials Fund. The subject of the painting is the defensive operations of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry during the June 1916 Battle at Sanctuary Wood in Belgium. This colour army photograph was taken during or after the Second World War.
