Canadian Air Transportation Administration. A-Base Review Task Force : In 1982, the Ministers of Treasury Board expressed concern that the Canadian Air Transportation Administration's Human Resources Requirements Plan did not define adequately the justification for an increase in resource levels. Consequently, in November 1982, the Air Administrator established an A-Base Review Task Force with the mandate of reviewing the resource requirements of the CATA for fiscal year 1983-1984. For purposes of the Review, the Air Administration was divided into five organizational units: Air Navigation Services, Regulatory, Airports and Construction Services, Direction and Administration and Flight Services.
