The accession contains bound volumes of income statements for various CN departments, affiliate rail lines and companies including the Express Department, The Niagara, St. Catharines and Toronto Railway Company (which includes Canadian National Steamers (Steamships), Canadian National Realties, various Warehouses, Prince Rupert Dry Dock, Rail & River Coal Company, Montreal & Southern Counties Railway Company, Oshawa Railway Company, The Thousand Islands Railway Company, Brooksay Realty Company, Central Vermont Railway Incorporated and Grand Trunk Western Subsidiearies, Canadian National Railways (France), Canadian Northern Land Department, Canada Atlantic Transit Company of U.S. and Canadian National Steamships - Pacific Service. Each volume contains summaries by account number for transportation, operating and other income and expenditures incurred by each of the departments, affiliates. Some of the financial reports, such as those for the Canadian National Express Company, also include breakdowns of of income/expenditures on a regional basis (i.e. Western, Central, Eastern).
