Library and Archives Canada (LAC) welcomes you to the exhibition Prime Ministers and the Arts: Creators, Collectors and Muses on July 1st, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for Canada Day.

When: July 1, 2019, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Just steps from Parliament Hill, at 395 Wellington Street, we will be welcoming the many visitors in Ottawa to celebrate this special day. The ground floor will be open and visitors will be able to browse the used books sale organized by the Friends of Library and Archives Canada, as well as enjoy some refreshments.

Thanks to the exhibition Prime Ministers and the Arts: Creators, Collectors and Muses, Canadians and tourists gathered in Ottawa will have a unique opportunity to learn more about the influence and artistic interests of William Lyon Mackenzie King, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Sir John Sparrow David Thompson and other Canadian prime ministers.
