    This fonds consists of 2 x 78 rpm audio discs containing recordings of two CBC reports on the re-commissioning of the HMCS Algonquin in 1953.
    Biography/Administrative history:
    Jukes, Yvonne, 1920-2011: Yvonne Sara Jukes was born in Northumberland, England, on July 13th, 1920. After moving to Canada, she served with the Women¿s Division of the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II, in Halifax and with the Number 6 Bomber Group in the North of England. She passed away in Ottawa, Ontario on April 4, 2011.
