an image of the Montreal port with encircling city buildings and ice hoves that have piled on top of one another to form a mound

This work is possibly a copy after George Andrews who accompanied the Prince of Wales on his tour in 1866. A check should be made against the Illustrated London News for a similar view. This would also invalidate the year 1864 inscribed on the watercolour.
