    Biography/Administrative history:
    Moogk, Edward B., 1914-1979: A specialist in sound recording, Edward Moogk pursued a career in radio under the professional name of Ed Manning and in the recording industry. A collector of Canadian recordings, he was the curator of the Recorded Sound Collection at the Music Division of the National Library of Canada from 1972 to 1979. Moogk is also the author of the work entitled Roll Back the Years: History of Canadian Recorded Sound and Its Legacy: Genesis to 1930 (Ottawa, 1975).
