    The majority of the views in this series (formerly series D) relate to land and water transportation in Canada and the United States, with a strong focus on rail transportation. There are also many views of buildings, factories, shop interiors, machinery, landscapes, cityscapes and portraits. The series contains images created by the Toronto Transit Commission, the Toronto Harbour Commission and the Quebec Harbour Commission, as well as works by photographers such as J.B. Livernois, F.W. Micklethwaite, the Notman Studio, J.W. Bald, P.H. Dudley, and Frank Yeigh.
