    Scope and content:
    Sub-series consists of technical drawings transferred to the National Archives from DHist. (NO PERMANENT VOLUMES IN THIS SUB-SERIES) RG24M 85603/43 consists of drawings of types of British patrol craft such as motor gun boats, motor torpedo boats, steam gunboats, motor launches, and minesweepers. Also Included in the accession are drawings of two German vessel types, the "E" boat, also known as the Schnellboote, and the "R" boat. RG24M 86703/10 consists of plans of gate vessels and a submersible tender. RG24M 86703/26 consists of plan #307, item C, part 2, subhead K., drawn by T. Woodgate, of Bickford Tower, a signal station constructed in 1902-1904 at the entrance to the port of Esquimalt, B.C.

    RG24M 85603/43: Items have holes punched along one side.
    Custodial history:
    RG24M 85603/43 was transferred in Aug. 1985 by the Directorate of History, Dept. of National Defence. Prior to that, it had been maintained by the Director of Aerospace Engineering & Maintenance - Maritime. RG24M 86703/10 was transferred in June 1986 from the Directorate of History, D.N.D., who had previously received it from the Directorate Marine Engineering and Maintenance. RG24M 86703/26 was transferred in Aug. 1986 from the Directorate of History, D.N.D.
