Public Locations Outside of Ottawa

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) currently provides client services in Ottawa and in three regional offices across Canada.

All centres provide reference and consultation services on local collections. On-site client consultations are by appointment only. To book an appointment, please contact the appropriate office by phone or email.

In 2016, Library and Archives Canada is changing its service delivery model and refocusing its activities in Vancouver and Halifax. Our objectives: providing more comprehensive client service; improving access to documentary heritage; and increasing collaboration with partners. To learn more about LAC’s new role and presence in Nova Scotia and British Columbia, please contact our local offices.
