Groupe Média TFO visits Library and Archives Canada for feature story on the life of Librarian and Archivist of Canada Dr. Guy Berthiaume

On November 25, 2014 a crew from Groupe Média TFO visited Library and Archives Canada for a lengthy interview with the Librarian and Archivist of Canada, Dr. Guy Berthiaume.

Conducted by Daniel Lessard, the interview traces the life and professional career of Dr. Berthiaume.

The 30-minute feature aired on TFO's "Carte de visite" on February 7th at 8:30 p.m. Viewers can also watch it online (French only).

A segment of the interview took place inside the Jacob M. Lowy Room at 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa. Acquired in 1977 from Jacob M. Lowy’s world-class library, this collection is a treasure trove of rare and old Hebraica and Judaica assembled over a period of forty years.
