Please be reminded that, as stated in the announcement of
April 1, 2010, and in the message that was sent to departments in February 2012, Library and Archives Canada’s Quebec Regional Service Centre (RSC) located in Montréal will close on September 30, 2012.
If you have not already begun negotiations to develop an exit strategy for the removal of your information resources without enduring value, we would recommend that you contact our project lead,
Michel Poitras, at 613-222-2122, to begin this process. It is important that you proceed quickly with this work, in order to decrease the number of boxes that must be moved and to maintain control over your information resources.
Please note that reference and disposition activities will continue until September 30, 2012 for information resources already stored in the Montréal RSC.
