Last days of AMICUS and upcoming changes

In December, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) launched Aurora, a new interface to access LAC’s published holdings. LAC’s acquisitions, cataloguing, public access and circulation functions are now managed through OCLC, the world's largest online resource for discovering library materials, rather than LAC's 20-year-old library management system, AMICUS.

As one of the last major milestones of the project to renew its library system, LAC will be removing access to all public AMICUS interfaces and related services in the coming weeks. For more details, please consult information about replacements for AMICUS-related interfaces.
