Final touches to the design of the future Library and Archives Canada and Ottawa Public Library joint facility

Registration is open for the public workshops on Iconic Features and Finishing Touches for the Library and Archives Canada and Ottawa Public Library joint facility project.

At this workshop, participants will be asked to view and comment on the types of materials (glass, stone, metal, wood, etc.) that will be used on the facility's exterior and interior, and to provide input on how these can be combined to create iconic features. The public will also be asked to share their thoughts on the ways in which this facility can become an inclusive destination for all.

Sessions will be held in three different locations in Ottawa from November 18 to 20, at 6 to 8:30 p.m. Register now at Inspire555.ca.

On the same website, also in November (the date has yet to be confirmed), Canadians from outside the National Capital Region or anyone who cannot attend the workshops can provide online input about the facility's iconic features and finishing touches.
