What’s new in the collection: the spring 2018 edition is out!

We are pleased to tell you about the newest items in our collection.

Maybe you have seen Anita Kunz’s art on the covers of magazines such as Time, Rolling Stone or The New Yorker. We recently added a wide variety of reproductions, prints and original drawings to the fonds of this renowned and prolific Canadian illustrator.

We have also acquired Nancy Campbell’s book about the famous works of Annie Pootoogook, an avant‑garde Inuit artist and recipient of the Sobey Art Award in 2006. Some of her artworks can be seen in the National Gallery of Canada. The book entitled Annie Pootoogook: cutting ice = Ini Putugu: tukisitittisimavuq takusinnggittunik is in Inuktut and English.

Many documents have been added to the Canadian Historical Association fonds. Now open for consultation, these records document the organization’s efforts to represent the historical profession and promote history in Canada.

See the What’s new in the collection section of our website for more information.

The next edition will be released in summer 2018.

Happy discoveries!
