Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has docked at Pier 21! On May 31, LAC opened a new public service point inside the Scotiabank Family History Centre located in the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax.

To officially inaugurate our new location in the Atlantic region, LAC invites you to a lively hour-long conversation with renowned editorial cartoonist Bruce MacKinnon. (Event in English only)

Mr. MacKinnon will be the guest of Guy Berthiaume, Librarian and Archivist of Canada, as part of the Signatures Series, which features original interviews with individuals who have donated their archives to LAC.

Reserve your spot now for this event, which will be held at the museum on Monday, June 19, from noon to 1:15 p.m. (local time), in the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Theatre at 1055 Marginal Road in Halifax. All seating will be general admission. Hurry up, as spaces are limited!
