We are pleased to announce the launch of the 1921 Census database on the Library and Archives Canada website. The Census database includes the names of close to 9 million individuals from across Canada, including the Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

About the Census of Canada 1921 database

If you have ever been keen to research genealogy, a simple search in the 1921 Census database will give you access to a vast amount of historical information, including the following:

  • Family, household or institution
  • Name of each person in the dwelling, including:
