What’s new in the collection: stay informed about the latest additions to the national collection

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is pleased to introduce a new section on its website to announce additions to the collection.

You’ll find select archival documents and publications recently received in addition to select archives that are now available for consultation.

The first edition of “What’s new in the collection” includes an addition to playwright Michel Marc Bouchard’s fonds and the possibility to consult works that are part of the collections of painters Peter Rindisbacher and Cornelius Krieghoff.

You’ll also find a selection of publications recently received mainly through the Legal Deposit Program including a book on pianist Oscar Peterson and another on novelist Germaine Guèvremont.

What’s new in the collection will be updated every three months.

Please note that we are currently working to offer a more complete selection of our new acquisitions. They should be available online in the coming months.
