It’s no longer a secret: the second issue of Signatures is out!

Secret codes, encrypted messages, intimate correspondence, spiritualism and revelations thanks to restoration: Library and Archives Canada is pulling back the curtain and unveiling a few more of the secrets in its collection in the recently released second issue of Signatures magazine. Prime ministers William Lyon Mackenzie King, John A. Macdonald and Wilfrid Laurier even find themselves at the heart of some of these mysterious stories.

Signatures: The Magazine of Library and Archives Canada seeks to make known and interpret the living cultural, civic, and historical record of Canada as reflected in its documentary heritage. The articles are written and produced by the staff of Library and Archives Canada—including librarians, archivists, conservators, curators, and many other specialists.
