Major interruption of LAC computing services March 1st and 2nd, 2014

On Saturday, March 1st, 2014, from 00:00 am to Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, at noon (EDT), a major interruption of computing services will affect clients of Library and Archives Canada (LAC).

During this period, the following services will be unavailable:

  • LAC internal and external websites
  • E-mail services (including those via BlackBerry)
  • LAC internal and external applications (SharePoint, print and file servers, AMICUS, MIKAN, etc.)
  • Employees will also not be able to work from their workstation or from their home via Internet or VPN.

LAC regrets any inconvenience that this may cause.
