Overview Pan-Canadian Documentary Heritage Forum
Alone, no documentary heritage institution or organization can meet the challenges of appraisal, acquisition, preservation and access in the digital age. Collaboration among documentary heritage stakeholders is essential for the achievement of individual mandates. This is one reason LAC has been convening a number of stakeholder and academic forums so that stakeholders can work together to create a collective vision of a working documentary heritage network.

Progress: Stakeholder and Academic Forums
Working groups for the five initiatives set out at the May Stakeholder Forum met over the summer to identify the most significant issues for their areas and to look at next steps. By sharing the results, participants can learn from each other and possibly discover points of convergence between their respective mandates.
