    Fonds comprises original editorial cartoons by Mike Graston focussing primarily on issues of national importance. Many of the cartoons examine the governments of Brian Mulroney, Kim Campbell, Jean Chrétien and Paul Martin. Prominent Cabinet Ministers portrayed include Sheila Copps, John Crosbie, and Michael Wilson.

    National subjects of interest include the Constitution and Meech Lake Accord, national unity, the G.S.T., health care, Quebec separatism and referendum, social issues such as gun control, unemployment, Young Offender's Act, child care, immigration and justice.

    On the international front, the cartoonist covers such subjects as the Gulf war, Canada-U.S. relations, armed uprisings, the Baltic States and the dissolution of the Russian empire. International leaders portrayed include George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher and Saddam Hussein.

    Provincial leaders include Don Getty, David Peterson, Bob Rae, Mike Harris, Jacques Parizeau, and Lucien Bouchard.
